IS IT TIME TO BURY AND HIDE YOUR WEAPONS?
This is the United States of America! The land of the free and the home of the brave, although Washington D.C. appears to be the home of the naive.
When I was a kid some 40+ years ago, it was the "Red Scare" that had our guns at our bedside and the fear that overnight invasions from the communist that had our Right to Bear Arms held close to our bosom.
Though the Russian Bear is not dead, I guarantee you it is only resting. Our real fear is not from without but from within. The terms of the HR 45 Blair Holt Firearm
Licensing & Record of Sales Act of 2009 is vague on purpose and in purpose. Make no mistake, the purpose of our government is to disarm it's people through whatever means necessary.
First will come mandatory registration. That's so they know where to pick them up. They may offer a tax credit if you do so to make this a "safer" America. The safer America they speak of is not to protect you, but so they can enforce whatever bizarre laws that our twisted judicial system can dream up.
Second, there will be a surcharge levied against each gun owner as a tax for the privilege of owning a weapon. Currently, there is discussion of a $50 charge for each weapon you own.
Third will be the confiscations of weaponry which will come in waves. First will be assault weapons because they will say "they serve no purpose." (Except to repel our own out of control government.) Then will come pistols with magazines. Then sporting rifles that have an autoloader capacity. Their ultimate goal will be to leave us with revolvers and shotguns and to make us feel privileged that they have done so.
They've already begun to choke off the ammunition so tightly that the average man cannot go "plinking" at the local range anymore without taking out a loan at the local bank.
It's time to consider burying your cache of weaponry and ammo. Over the next few weeks I will cover in detail where and how to pick a place in your home or outside your home to bury such necessities. Pay attention, it will come in handy in the very, very near future.
Are you ready to listen or are you willing to become a ward of the state?

"there will be a surcharge levied against each gun owner as a tax for the privilege of owning a weapon. Currently, there is discussion of a $50 charge for each weapon you own."
This is the same rationale that was used for a poll tax, which was eventually found unconstitutional.
They are trying to tax one of the rights in the Bill of Rights, just as the right to vote was being taxed years ago.
It's just plain wrong.

What would a government have to fear from it's citizen's if the government has the only lethal weapons? I'll go ask the North Koreans. But, if this country is truly about freedom of the people, for the people and by the people then THIS GOVERNMENT SHOULD FEAR ITS CITIZENS, literally and figuratively. What do we gain if we forfeit ANY wherewithal to rid ourselves of it? The punks committing "gun-related" crimes are going to do the same thing I'll do, bury their guns.

My god, what country do you people live in? Iran, Iraq. You don't need guns. Period. No one I know of has or wants guns, any kind of gun. We don't need them in Canada. What a country to live in. I am glad I don't live in the US.

I don’t own guns so that I can hide them I own guns so that I can put down tyranny when it comes to my door.

Sorry to be slow in my reply. I was in a motor vehicle accident when some illegal aliens, no license, no insurance, fake socials, you know the routine. They were driving 60 mph and I was stopped………..major neck surgery, BUT I"M BACK! Makes it kind of hard to love the southern brethren.
You are so right Josey Wale's, tyranny is at the door and civil unrest could fill our streets given our current administrations direction of the czars. I too mean to meet it at the door, but a well hid back up piece might prove useful. I guess what I need is "A Fist Full of Dollars" or "A Few Dollars More" and I too could be a "High Plains Drifter." Point well taken.

Well let's look at the crime and drug rate in Canada. It's no better than here. Unless you are from here than your point is mute, you have no understanding.
I noticed that you spelled God with a little "g". In the United States of America our God is spelled with a big "G". His son Jesus Christ said in Luke 22:36 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one. Understanding that a sword to them is the equivelent of a gun now, I think that Jesus is exhorting us that there will be a time and a need for protection and self preservation. Good luck on your self protection when you need it and thanks for your thoughts.

Personally I don't think government has the balls to try to take our guns away. That would ignite an unimaginable storm of blood. More importantly It would turn millions of law abiding citizens into outlaws.
Because, quite simply, we would not obey. We would hide, organize and fight. Anybody having any of that?

whether we NEED guns or not is irrelevant. the bottom line is that we are given the RIGHT to have them by our founding fathers. the same argument goes to all the soccer moms that drive SUV's (even in canada i'm sure) do you think that most of those vehicles have ever seen more than a patch of grass? according to your logic lets ban those too. until you become a US citizen ou really have no right to dictate the meaning of our constitution/bill of RIGHTS to us. i'm just saying…

I agree that if we were all ordered tomorrow to turn 'um all in, the gov would have some resistance, to say the least. However, if anyone had suggested 50 years ago that we would have already given up as many freedoms as we now have and allowed the feds to control our lives the way they now do… we'd have called them crazy. Unfortunately, boiling the water slowly cooks the frog while he peacefully enjoys the swim. Step by tiny step they will try, and unless we all recognize the process and stop it NOW, they'll do it!!!

Hold on just a minute. Our rights were givent to us by our God (mentioned above), and were protected from being taken away by the government with the constitution by our founding fathers.
Never forget this. God given rights can only be taken away by Him. Man given rights can be taken back by man at any time.
